Hello, I hope everyone is having a wonderful Labor Day weekend! Today, I spent most of my day in the garage working on some wreaths and a hanging door basket for fall.
This hanging door basket below was part of an allotment purchase at an estate auction a few weeks ago and let’s just say it did not look like this when I brought it home. Sad to say, I did not take a before picture because I wasn’t sure I could salvage it. But with a little paint and dark stain, I think it turned out nice.
I kept the floral simple in this for fall.
On the front of the basket, I Mod Podged a graphic I found from The Graphic Fairy.
The fall wreath below was made using an oval grapevine wreath.
I attached fall leaves, pumpkins, cream and brownish orange hydrangeas, a chalkboard and burlap bows.
And this one, I used a twig wreath.
I attached greens, fall leaves, pumpkins, gourds, berries, pinecones and burlap bows.
Now I’m off to my sewing room to work on some fabric pumpkins. I have them all cut out ready to be sewn together.
As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all enjoy the rest of this long holiday weekend.
Gail
